Little Roxy was found behind a shed in Verona NJ. And at only six weeks old, she was all alone. We stepped up.
Roxy is an adorable kitten with unusual markings. She is an adventurous girl, always checking things out and exploring. Her Foster has two large dogs and she gets along just fine and is fearless around them (she just has to make sure she doesn't get stepped on!).
She is observant and generally quiet, but also has a playful side. Foster’ other cat is bossy so Roxy often goes off on her own to amuse herself. She is fine being held but doesn't look for cuddles just yet, as she’s still adjusting. She’s very curious - she’s already jumped over her barrier and checked out the house before settling in - she likes to explore. She is healthy and has has a good appetite for her kitten food.
She likes toys - she loves to chase in the cat tunnels, likes to snuggle with the other rescued kitten, likes her tiered maze, and chasing balls. In the evenings they play together or nap, and loves to play in the foster young daughter's room and hang out with her and the stuff on her floor ?
When she meets a new person, she’ll generally stand there, and may come up and check you out, but mostly she observes. She's ok with being picked up, even by a new person - she’ll stay a while then off to a new adventure. When at the vet's she didn't make a peep while being handled and checked. She's kind of mellow - she doesn’t seem to sweat the small stuff.
What is her best next home? She’s really fine anywhere and adjusts well. She’s good with other pets, but not necessary. Come meet Roxy! You won’t go home alone ;)
