Sweet little Opie - named for our rescue angel Amy - came into rescue after being pulled from the Passaic Animal Shelter in May of 2025. This cutie was just waiting for someone to say yes to spring him from the shelter and give him a loving foster experience, and his current foster has shaped this tiny boy into a loving, playful kitten who would love to find a home with another cat or kitten who can match his kitten energy and love him the way he deserves to be loved.
Opie will meow loudly when his is hungry, so you'll never forget to feed him on-time! He currently eats 1/2 can of kitten wet twice daily, and enjoys grazing on kitten dry throughout the day. Opie is SUPER social and loves to meet new people - no shying away for this little guy! He also will purr very loud when he is snuggle-y and is curled up next to you on the couch. He will sleep through the night on a heated blanket when it's chilly, or in his fluffy bed on a warmer night.
Being so young, Opie has a lot of playful energy and enjoys string toys and feathers a lot! Interactive toys are so great too - as he can be entertained without human interaction. Especially after a meal, he loves to play to expend his energy. When he's tuckered, he will fall asleep, cuddling up right next to your leg, and will be nice and quiet. He needs a balance of activity and rest to maintain his health and well-being.
Opie is negative for FiV/FeLV, and has had his initial wellness exam. He will be receiving his first round of vaccinations on 6/19, and will be available to find his forever home after! Does this little Creamsicle seem like a match for your family?
