I'm ready for my new family!

It's almost spooky season... are you interested in a sweet black cat that will give you all of the good luck? Meet Ike! This guy was found living outdoors in West Caldwell, and has settled into the luxury of indoor life! Two volunteers for our rescue were walking to a date-night dinner when they came upon their neighbors attempting to capture Ike and his sister Mikey. They stepped in to offer assistance, brought the pair into their home, and got them ready for their wonderful foster home!

Ike has a a little bit of white fur on his tail tip that is just too cute to ignore. He was a little shy at first, but has come out of his shell in foster and is ready to find a family that will love on him the way he deserves. He is litter box trained and LOVES to play, play, play! His foster shared that he is loving, playful, sweet, and adventurous! He just wants to snuggle in bed with his foster at any chance he gets! His initial wellness visit at our amazing vet was great, and he is primed to land in a forever home. 

Ike has started his vaccination schedule, but is not yet neutered due to his age. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make his appt!  Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
