Jasper and Lucy were in a terrible situation. Their owner passed away, and the landlord was just going to throw them on the street! Thanks to a kind neighbor, they are currently safe, but need a forever home.
Unfortunately, we have very little information on their history. We believe they are related and about 7 years old. What we do know is that they came from a hoarding situation, and their previous owner passed away suddenly. We didn’t even get their names. They have been with their neighbor for about 2 years now, and were very overweight. Although they are big cats they are now at their healthiest, thanks to her!!
Lucy - is the orange female. She's about 14 lbs. and is is sensitive and sweet. She will ask for attention when she wants it. At first, she was standoffish, but don’t be worried, she does come around!! She also loves head butts and giving little playful nips. She is not food motivated, so, if you want to bribe her, food doesn't work. But she LOVES catnip!
Jasper - is a gray and white tabby. At 16 lbs, he is super sweet and loving, and will come right up and meow at you when he wants to cuddle and get pet! (He loves butt scratches!) He also loves his banana stuffie toy, and is very food motivated. It won’t take him long to warm up to you and make friends.
This bonded pair get along great with their foster's cats, and tend to be passive and deferential. They hid when they met a friendly bulldog, but are never aggressive. They just need to get comfortable with a friendly dog and will make friends. They both enjoy going outside and venturing over the property and sit in the sun relaxing (especially Lucy).
Their neighbor/foster says "They need a home that will love them to pieces, and baby them the way they deserve!!!"
