Beautiful green-eyed Josie came from a hoarding situation with 15 crated dogs and cats in West Orange NJ. We, along with other rescues, got busy and saved them from being euthanized. As a result, Josie was initially frightened and hid for 3 days. Now that Josie has been cared for by a wonderful foster and knows she is safe, she runs around the house, exploring every nook and cranny (it's her job as a kitten!) This shy one is not so shy anymore, and follows her foster around to see what she's doing, and jumps up on the computer desk to get a little more attention and to socialize!
Josie gets along with the two other cats under foster's care, and is very social. She responds with her own special "mrrr" when she sees you and when spoken to. Josie is like a ray of sunshine with her energy and happy-go-lucky attitude, and will quickly become a favorite in any family!
