Good Samaritans are our favorite saviors - Evangeline was brought into VEG Paramus by a Good Samaritan as a sing;e kitten in need of saving. This little fighter has demonstrated a zest for life and a warrior spirit looking for a forever home to welcome her with open hearts. Evie had a rough start in life. She came to our rescue with both eyes infected and an upper respiratory infection. She has undergone treatment through our veterinarian and is now thriving and ready for adoption.
Evangeline (Evie for short) is a feisty little girl with a whole lot of love to give. She is litter box trained and has a healthy appetite after the sincere care from one of our amazing kitten fosters. She currently enjoys her meals of Wellness Kitten food 2 times a day, and dry Purina Pro Plan for grazing. Evie is very affectionate with her preferred human. She will jump onto her foster Mom's lap and nap for hours. She also loves the window seat and will take in the beauty of the world through her eyes. She will watch the birds and deer as they play in the front yard - how captivating for a kitten! Evie is also very good at the iPad game for cats- ‘catfishing’ - which is quiet the sight to see!
When meeting new people, Evie can be a bit shy at first, but will warm up quickly and seek the playful affection of her new acquaintance through play. When it comes to playtime, Evie loves running through the cat tunnels and chasing balls around the house. She also enjoyed playing with her foster brothers Cricket amd Bumble. and is unbothered by the resident dogs in the foster home. Evie welcomes cuddles and snuggles from everyone once she is comfortable with you and knows you are safe.
Evie is not yet spayed (too young) and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Maybe this little love can be a companion to your lonely pet in your home?
