Daisy came to us through a friend of the rescue - her friend had to sell her house and couldn't take her cats. Daisy is in one of our fosters' homes now, and is ready for her forever home. Daisy was very timid when our rescue first got her - she wasn't hostile or aggressive at all, poor thing was just scared to death. She would find corners to hide in and just wanted to be left alone.
Then came The Pack....
Fosters have 7 cats of their own they fondly call The Pack, and once Daisy was introduced to them, she got a new lease on life! She loves interacting with them, and they have taught her how to play, and that the humans who also live there are not so bad after all ;). Now she's showing her real personality and allowing pets, and even joining the fosters on the sofa! She's really come a long way! Daisy likes to climb on the kitty tower, and loves playing with string or the laser pointer. She is getting more social every day, loves to follow her fosters around, and for some reason, especially into the bathroom.
Daisy would definitely benefit if her new home had at least one cat - as you can see, a companion gives her confidence and she learns behavior from them. She will be shy at first, but will acclimate more quickly to new people and new environment now, and the more time they can spend with her, the better. Fosters also feel she probably will be good with kids and dogs, but should be tested.
