***Snuggly lapcat warning***
Sweet Charlotte came to us from a person who rescued a cat and did not know she was pregnant! She was born indoors and has only every known the house cat life. She and her 5 siblings are all about to be available for adoption, so maybe one of them will be the right fit for you home!
Charlotte is weened from her mother and is eating wet kitten food. She enjoys humans, dogs, and cats - and loves to build a strong bond to her humans through cuddle time. She is litterbox trained already so no need to worry about any pet messes. She enjoys engaging in play, like a typical kitten, and has demonstrated that she is drawn to mouse toys and anything attached to a string for leaping and catching during playtime.Â
When meeting a new person, Charlotte is approachable and friendly. She loves her human companions and mainly just wants your attention and affection. She will even try to climb you to get to your lap or leg to take a little afternoon snooze. She likes interaction, so having a home with other pets or children would be best for her so she has someone to play with and snuggle with when she gets tuckered out.Â
Charlotte has a negative FiV/FeLV test, is UTD on vaccinations, but is not yet spayed due to her age. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, she is eligible to be spayed for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the spay appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
