Meet Yoda! He’s just under a year old and, as a smaller dog, will be around 20 pounds full grown. The shelter staff where we rescued him from have shared that he is a little shy at first until he warms up to you, but super-sweet and tends to get the hilarious zoomies while he’s out playing! Yoda has taken his time to decompress in his foster home, and is ready to fly!
Yoda is housebroken and is completely crate trained! He is still figuring out how to walk on leash, but with time and patience he will be a great walking companion. He currently eats Blue Buffalo dry, twice daily and really enjoys feeding times. He is a toy-boy... he LOVES all toys and is super playful! He enjoys balls, stuffies, and bones to his hearts content in his foster. He has great playful energy and would love an active home with children over 6.
Yoda can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, and as a traditional Jack Russel is very vocal when the home is visited. He just wants to talk to you and say hello! He warms up quickly and will engage in play with anyone who invites some playtime. With his foster family, he is a complete love bug. Yoda loves to sit on laps, lay on the couch with his foster family, and will snuggle in bed and play with his toys when he is feeling safe and content. On a calm Sunday afternoon, his foster reports that you will typically see him grabbing toys out of the toy bin and playing with them, and then he will run from room to room to join the family. This little guy loves to be with people and exudes joy and playfulness!
Yoda is neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Interested in adding this happy, playful boy to your home?
