This sweet and beautiful little one was rescued from a high-kill shelter and brought north for a new beginning. At about 10.5 weeks and 15 lbs she is all kisses and play, and is a super happy girl. <p>
She's very interested in people, and is a total tail-wagger. She's an agreeable and gentle soul, and adorably goes limp when you pick her up - she even lets you touch her feet! She loves her people most of all, and is totally in love with foster's other dog. She shows no anxiety, and no aggression at all. She loves her fenced-in yard, loves running around, and is currently being trained to stop her little digs in the yard. She's just ok on the leash right now, which isn't surprising as she's just a pup, but they’re working on it! She starts a bit at car noises, but is getting used to things. She did well on the car ride home. <p>
Velma is spayed, and is a healthy normal little girl. She is perfectly crate trained at night, and sleeps through. In the day, she may cry a bit initially in her crate, but then she's ok. House training is a work in progress - she goes near the door when she needs to go out, but if she doesn't time it right, she uses the pee pads by door. She loves her chew toys and they entertain for hours. Sneaker Thief Alert! She loves sneakers, so hide the tennis shoes!! She almost never barks, and when she does it's only when playing. When company comes, she will watch you, then run over for hugs and cuddles. <p>
Velma will do wonderfully with another friendly dog, and will be great with anyone who would spend a lot of time with her. Foster feels if she was alone all day she would get bored and destructive, as would most puppies. She's ready now - are you??
