Tilly came from KY, where her owner surrendered her because they were moving. This little one would not do well in a southern shelter, so we snatched her up and transported her north! <p>
Tilly is a 7 lb. snuggle-bunny who would rather be with you than anything else in her world! She's adorable and sweet, and will follow you around and sleep in your lap or at your feet. She's a true people dog, and prefers you to any toys you could buy. She's a gentle soul, and non-aggressive in every way. She is crate-trained, and will sleep in a crate at night. She is also crated during the day when foster is out - it's not be cause she is destructive, and she IS 100% housebroken, but it's her safe place and she feels more secure inside when no one is home. <p>
She is pretty non-reactive when people come over - she'll stay with her foster mom, but check everyone out. She IS social though - foster brought her to work and she did wonderfully being passed from person to person for hugs, so long as mom was in view. She doesn't really bark much - only when her foster sister starts to bark. She's great on a leash, and in the car she sits on fosters' lap and falls asleep. She know her name and knows Come also. <p>
We think Tilly will do wonderfully in a calm home, and we recommend kids over 10, as young children can be hyper and a bit clumsy. Tilly bonds hard, so someone who is home often (or someone who will take her with them) is number 1 on the wish list. A senior would be great if they can navigate her being underfoot at times. <p>
