Tiger Lily is coming into rescue from her previous owner because of family financial issues - through no fault of her own! This family has stepped up to do the right thing for this sweet girl and we couldn't be more grateful that they are going through our rescue! Her face is very expressive and so sweet - she is like a big teddy bear!
Tiger Lily has tolerated being crated as a puppy, but does not need to be crated when the owner is not home. She does get a little curious about things, but is generally a well behaved girl and doesn't destroy anything around the home.
Tiger Lily is completely house-broken, and has access to a doggy door in her current home and can come and go as she needs to. Accident free in the house! On leash - Tiger Lily is a puller and would benefit from some patience and training with this, but does SO love going on walks (and runs)! If you like to get exercise, this girl will be your perfect running mate! For feeding times, she eats primarily dry food twice a day.
When the family is hanging around on a lazy afternoon, Tiger Lily will be right there with you on the couch and will cuddle and snuggle. She will headbutt you with kisses at every chance she gets. She is really, truly lovely. At night, she sleeps on the couch and is content being on her own overnight. She would cuddle in the bed if she could, but she's a big girl who will take up a bunch of space!
She loves tossing the rope up in the air to herself, so she is able to entertain herself. She will always be happy to engage in some tug-o-war with her toy as well. She also runs in circles outside to get her energy out! She is great with young children - she is gentle and very cautious with the 10-month-old in the house. She does like to jump on older children so just be prepared for some potential accidents.
