Sweet Sunny was adopted from us as a puppy 1.5 years ago - since then owner has had babies and a relative who is allergic, so they are surrendering her. But she is such a gorgeous and agreeable dog, we know her real forever home is just around the corner.....
Sunny is an active and playful girl, but owners are self-proclaimed couch potatoes and she has matched their energy. But she loves to run, loves to take walks, and would be a great hiking or jogging buddy. Sunny knows Sit, and to Come when her name is called so far, and she has mastered these 2 commands with ease - she's a smart girl and anxious to please. She is crate-trained, but crate is no longer used as she is fully housebroken, and is never destructive in the house - she is very well-behaved. She gets excited and happy when company comes, but that is not often. She calms easily though and is super friendly. She is conscious of her size and is very gentle - owner has 2 small ones and she is very careful not to jossle them. On walks, she does gets excited and can pull a bit when other dogs come by. She's kind of a lonely gal, loves going the dog park and running around with other dogs, so a sibling would be wonderful. She loves her bones and playing tug of war, and shows no food or toy aggression at all.
We believe she will fit in just about anywhere, but ideal next home would be a large family that has time to play, is somewhat active, and has another friendly dog. Fenced yard would be nice but not a requirement - she loves to hang outside. Come and meet Sunny - her pictures don't do her justice!
