4 year old Speedo came to us from a shelter in AL, and we brought him north for a chance at a forever home. He is adorable and sweet as can be, and totally in love with his people. He loves to follow foster around all day, and is a cuddly lapdog who will lick your face and love on you forever.
Speedo is a friendly guy, completely human-motivated, and will follow his person around all day. He is initially more comfortable with women, but warms up very quickly to the guys (see pic!). He's a lapdog who will lick your face and love on you forever! He loves his kisses, and adorably loves wrapping himself in towels and blankets, and throwing them in the air - it's really funny to watch!!
When people come he barks and goes to the door and is initially friendly but cautious - 2 seconds later he's your best friend. He would be completely in his bliss to sit all day on your lap. If he's on your lap getting pets and you get up, he runs ahead and will throw his body down in front of you to get your attention again, so tread carefully !! He's such a character!! He's also a very smart boy, and very trainable with treats.
He loves going on walks, and we figured out quickly where his name came from - he is a FAST walker! No strolling for him!! But when he's done, he's done, and will turn around and go home when he's had enough. Speedo will fit in well in most any home, but would do best in a home with people who are around a lot. He gets sad when he's alone for too long. He'll do fine with or without another dog.
