This adorable Chi/Pittie puppy named Roxy is from a local litter of 9! They were living outdoors in a backyard, and needed to be brought to safety. She and her siblings entered our rescue at 8 weeks old, and are getting ready to find their forever homes!
Roxy is working on learning the indoor lifestyle in her foster home. She is not yet housebroken, but is working with her foster towards future success. She is also figuring out the leash and how to walk with the foster in their neighborhood. She is getting used to her crate, but she will howl a little if she is left alone.
Roxy loves to play with crinkle toys and all things that squeak! True puppy energy with this little one - she is highly active and very entertaining. She has been outgoing and social in her foster home, making new friends any chance she gets. She absolutely adores belly rubs and will gladly show you when she wants them! Her foster shared that she has the most beautiful eyes and has an adorable little puppy howl when she feels lonely. She romps around for playtime any chance she gets, so having an active owner would be a great fit for her.
Roxy is UTD on vaccinations, but is not yet spayed. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, she is eligible to be spayed for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
