I know you'll remember Momma June. We worked so hard to find her a foster family in time, where she could settle in and peacefully deliver her babies. And we did!
I immediately reached out to my contact down South to share the amazing news, only to learn I was literally 12-hours too late. The puppies had been aborted. That they couldn't take in even one more soul. They were that overcrowded. They did it to give Momma a chance to not be euthanized due to lack of space.
My heart sank, as yours is right now. I couldn't talk about it. I couldn't respond to them. I couldn't fathom we'd missed saving Momma's puppies by mere hours.
And now we'd like to help Momma. Grieving, depressed, and confused; she's hurting & needs love. She is arriving soon and will be available for adoption once she has decompressed.
