I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Maggie

I'm Available

Maggie is one of NINE from an 'accidental' litter of Australian Shepherd/Chihuahua Mix Puppies. The owner is in the hospital and, sadly, won't be coming home. Maggie had a rough start, but is on the mend in her foster placement! The rescue is dedicated to helping these puppies and their mama!

Maggie is progressing with housebreaking. She is also figuring out walking on leash quite quickly and will typically stay nearby her foster. Maggie isn't using a traditional crate, but rather has a playpen that is used for times she needs to a place to decompress and feel safe.  Maggie currently eats puppy kibble and wet food 2-3x per day. She enjoys playing with anything she can do her puppy chewing on - such as stuffies and rope toys. When it comes to socialization, Maggie is still a little cautious, but is learning to trust humans again. She LOVES belly rubs from her foster parents, and on a lazy afternoon, she just wants to be near you for love and affection.

She is not yet spayed, but is undergoing the vaccination process and is getting her health needs met.
