Meet Jerry!
Jerry's senior owner landed in a nursing home and will never be returning home. Jerry was living alone at home, with family members stopping over to provide for his basic necessities.
What they couldn't provide is that's feeling of safe. That feeling of belonging. That feeling of being with his person.
At 7+ years old, he is lost without his human.
Jerry would be an ideal companion for a lonely human wanting their very own shadow and lapdog.
Jerry prefers to be a solo pet, but has adapted to sharing space with another dog in foster care. Cats are meant for chasing, kind of like wind-up toys for Jerry, so that's a no.
Jerry doesn't require much and at 19lbs doesn't even take up much room.
He is housebroken, vaccinated, neutered and in generally good heath for a senior. We are committed to providing a dental in February when our vet will be running a special discount. It's not an emergency, but a procedure we would like to see him have.
