Jack is the first born pup of a 4 pup litter found in Brooklyn, and is the most active of his siblings. He loves to be the first to run up to a new person and loves attention! He loves his toys too, and running around with everyone whether they be fellow pups or a person.
Jack is a good learner, and now knows sit, down, no, leave it, and quiet. He's potty trained to go outside, but can also use wee pads. As far as the leash goes, let’s just say he's very young and not bad, considering his young age. He does tend to be a chomper, but training is ongoing, and he’s a smarty pants who learns quickly. Jack gets along with dogs of all sizes, but good idea to keep an eye on the very littles just because he is an exuberant little guy who’s loving life! He LOVES cuddle time, and is a snuggly little pudge! He’s also very tolerant - he will let you cut his nails, clean his ears, and brush his teeth with no trouble at all.
He sleeps all night in his crate, but you'll need one of those heartbeat puppy dolls so he feels safe and comfy.
NOTE: Jack is one of two pups that has a bit of a limp, due to his right front paw being larger than the other. The vet said it was likely something he was born with as it showed up soon after he started walking. Vet feels it is quite possible he won’t have any problems and will adapt to his leg just fine, as he is currently keeping up with his siblings and does not struggle to enjoy some very active playtime.
We think Jack is perfect in his imperfection, and needs a forever home where they feel the same! He will do best in a home with people that love active playtime to help him get out his bountiful energy.
