Better not mention any secrets around Hendrix, 'cause those ears hear everything! This sweet boy came to us from a high-kill shelter in AL, and is now a happy guy! He's a Fox Terrier mix with short little legs who is probably almost full grown at 25 lbs, but you never know....!!
Hendrix loves to greet everyone and loves to play. He's a nice and friendly boy, more cautious at first with males but gets past that quickly. He loves his toys, especially the squeaky balls. He's a gentle soul who doesn't destroy anything house-wise - your furniture legs and sneakers are safe! He loves to be around people, and would do well with a doggie brother or sister to play with. He's good in the car and his leash training is just ok but improving with foster's training. He's great in his crate, and sleeps there in the BR with no complaints. He is crated when home alone as well, and does fine.
He's pretty relaxed at night for a puppy, not hyper and loves to cuddle. He sits with his foster on the sofa watching tv in the evenings, or also entertains himself (he loves to snuggle and play, but if you aren't available to play with him, he entertains himself.) He's generally easy going, and accepting with anything you do with him - ok to stick your hand in his mouth if he chews something, etc. He has no aggression of any kind. When company comes, he greets the new person with waggy tail and a few licks. He jumps a little, but he's just a little guy and foster is working on it (although it should be noted for families with very young children)
