Gorgeous 4 year old Goldie was going to be surrendered to a shelter when her foster intervened and took her in as a foster. She describes Goldie as "67 lbs of perfection!" She is a sweet, friendly and very gentle mushface that just loves EVERYONE - small children, other dogs, even cats!
Goldie is not too into toys, but loves interaction with other dogs. She loves to be outside, loves her walks and of course, loves food. Her food motivation makes training that much easier. Foster feels she is very smart, and picks up commands easily. She's loves to be around her people, but is fine to be left alone in the house without being crated - she's a lover, not a destroyer! She is completely housebroken with no issues. At night, she chooses to sleep on the floor by the bed over sleeping further away in her bed. If she's near you, she's happy! <p>
Goldie is fine in the car, and good on a leash - she rarely pulls and walks nicely. When guests come, she stands by the door with a wagging tail and comes over for some snuggles. She bonds hard with her people - foster says she went kayaking on a family outing, and Goldie jumped right in and swam beside her so she was not alone. AWWWWW!! <p>
Goldie would love a home with kids, and is somewhat active. She likes walks, hikes and (apparently) swimming! Come meet Goldie and see for yourself!
