Rudy's mom had 4 puppies who were rescued from going into a shelter in East Orange - owner of the mom didn't want puppies. 1 pup was adopted out immediately (they are all so cute!), and we pulled the remaining 3 pups, Rudy, Henry and Holly. ALL are available for adoption now, separately or together.
Rudy is being fostered with his brother Henry and is smaller and lighter, but definitely is the more independent of the two. He is curious and loves to explore. He's also a very clever boy, and has confounded his fosters more than once, figuring out how to escape the puppy pen! He loves to hide under the furniture - not because he is afraid, just to play games and pop out! He likes to play fetch and loves to run around. When he wants your attention, he just plops on the floor in front of you and looks at you in an irresistible way to get you to play. Adorable! Rudy likes to cuddle, especially after he eats and has a full puppy belly. He gets sleepy and foster mom knows it's time to put this explorer to bed.
Rudy seems to get along with everyone and every thing - he'll be great in any household where he can be a puppy and run around and play. He'll be pretty easy to train since he is a smart boy, but needs an owner willing to put in the time.
