Diesel is part of an 8 puppy litter of GreatDane/Lab mixes. He, of course, is the most handsome of the bunch, being the only tan one in a black and white crowd!
Diesel is a friendly, mellow puppy who's aim in life is cuddles. We think, in Diesel's mind, the one with the most snuggles wins, and he is definitely going for the gold!! His favorite thing is to be with you, although he does play on his own as well... He does love toys, especially the squeaky ones, although he hasn't quite mastered the balls and the whole "fetch" thing. (Why does she keep throwing it away...??) :). <p>
He's fine around the house and doesn't chew on things that shouldn't be chewed, like a table leg or tennis shoe. He's good on a leash for a pup, and loves car rides. He's doing very well in getting up to speed with house training - he has an excellent record if you keep him on a schedule, otherwise his tiny bladder kicks in, but mostly will use the wee wee pads which are out just in case. He will pace around or sit by the door when he has to go out. He's learning commands, and already knows No or Stop, and is almost there with Sit. He IS crate trained and, although he doesn't like it so much, sleeps through the night with no accidents. When company comes he is excited and friendly, wagging his tail and looking for pets. <p>
His foster says she loves how he loves her - he's so excited to see you when you come home, and is so super sweet and cuddly. His perfect forever home will be with someone home a lot, or works from home, as he is not good at being alone for long periods. He would be good with kids, another dog or even cats. <p>
