I've found my furever family!

Dean came to us via a high-kill shelter in AL.  He's so sweet and the shelter people knew he could be part of a loving family, and reached out.  And they were SO right!  Dean is about 2 yo, and is one of those sweet, gentle and loving boys that loves his family and bonds so beautifully.  He's a very good boy, well behaved and mellow in the house, and loves to be around his people - his tail goes in to high gear the minute he sees you! <p><p>

Dean LOVES: <p>

• Belly rubs - when he meets someone the first thing he does is roll over for belly rubs.  He's no dummy! <p>
• He also likes to chew big bones and stuffed animals - he'll need sturdy toys but plays for hours. <p>
• His favorite thing is to sit by you on the couch and hang. <p>
• Playing with foster's other dog.  Dean is the bigger one, but remains submissive and lets her play on him.  He has NO aggression!<p>
• Fenced-in yard - Dean loves to run - both in the yard, and out the door.  Yup, he's a door dasher...  He gallops like a horse when he runs around - the fosters love it! <p><p>

Dean DOESN'T LOVE:<p><p>

• His crate.  It may be a reminder of bad days prior to being fostered.  Foster doesn't feel the need to crate him at night - he has no accidents and sleeps on his bed.<p>
• Barking - he's pretty quiet and has only barked a few times at outside noises.<p><p>

Dean has not been left alone in the foster's home just yet.  Foster feels he'll be ok but needs a big Kong with peanut butter to keep his mind on something else. He'll commandeer kids toys too if they are left out, so may force your kids to finally tidy up! <p><p>

Dean is a great dog, and would be perfect for new dog owner - very few challenges.  An active family is best, and an environment where this great dog can be nurtured.<p><p>
