Daisy is ready to find her forever home! 💗 The dogs we pull from high-kill shelters have been hand-selected by our rescue leader personally. She works with volunteers who go into the shelters and evaluate for family-friendly. She uses videos to help her make the decision. Delightful Daisy is considered a senior at approximately 7-years old. She is gentle and submissive and was the dog used to "dog-test" other dogs in the shelter. Daisy is a slow mover, quiet, gentle and co-dependent on human companions.
Sweet Daisy is housebroken, but has not been crate trained as her foster shares that she sleeps peacefully on the couch when no one is home. She is calm on walks and does not pull on leash. She doesn't show much interest in toys; she prefers the companionship of her humans. She meeting new people, Daisy will be cautious but is otherwise fine and accepting of visitors.
One super adorable trait that Daisy demonstrates is that she is a love bug (beware: she gives a lot of kisses). She will follow her favorite person around the house. Another is, when she goes outside, she has to plop on her back & do the roly-poly dance before going to the bathroom (it's the most adorable thing ever & always puts a smile on her foster's face). On a lazy Sunday afternoon, you will likely find Daisy just relaxing alongside of her preferred human.
Daisy's diet is dry kibble - specifically Purina Pro Plan chicken. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has received flea and tick preventatives.
