I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Mork and Mindy – BONDED Pair

We're happy to tell you that Mork and Mindy – BONDED Pair has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

These WERE The Bridge Puppies. Deliberately placed and left to die. Discovered hidden under a bridge, all alone and stuck in a milk crate down South in Rural Alabama. When found, they were hugging one another, literally clinging to each other for their lives. I've really never seen anything like it….(pic attached. Warning: I bawled like a baby...)

Today is a MUCH happier story. At about 2-3 months now, they were treated for mange and healed beautifully, as you can see in the pics. Today, they are absolutely thriving on their journey, and are vaccinated and transported to us here in NJ. From their foster down south: "As for a behavioral evaluation...they're 100% puppy. Nuff said!!! They are VERY friendly with dogs and people, and very good natured. Thanks again for rescuing them!!!”

Mork is the white and black male dog, and Mindy is the chocolate lab looking one. We don't really know if they are from the same litter or not, but through their experiences they bonded hard, and we will keep them together. He is the more dominant of the 2, and more outgoing initially with people. He's a total lover and can't get enough cuddles. Mindy is a bit more shy with people initially, but once she sees Mork getting all the snuggles, she definitely wants in! Mindy will come up on your lap when Mork is there, then stay as long as she can. Interestingly, while Mork is the alpha with people, Mindy is the alpha with other dogs. She loves playing, belly rubs, and when she rolls on her belly, you know you are accepted!!

They sleep on their backs up against each other - it’s adorable! When company comes, they run up and jump on you and want to play with you. they are total puppies, and have completely moved past their awful history. They may be a bit nervous at first, but they trust quickly - once they see you love them, they love you right back! They love to kiss and sit on you - foster says it’s like they can't stop thanking you for saving them. They act grateful and are both SOOOO HAPPY NOW!! They are crate-trained at night, but left out in the day - they don't seem to be interested in chewing things in the house so no need. They love everyone, but haven't met a cat yet, so that can be tested. They LOVE to be outside, but will need leash training to go for walks (Foster goes out with them in the fenced-in yard, so they haven't had a lot of practice). Foster adores them, says they are the most affectionate dogs she ever had, but has 3 other dogs and can't keep them.

COME MEET them - they will love you too!! And REMEMBER, 2 pups are NOT twice the work! They entertain each other, they take care of each other, and you never have to feel bad about leaving them alone, because they have each other!
