Our sweet Ally came from an Amish puppy breeder where she got to old to be of use to them (at 5 months!). She is adjusting beautifully to suburban living, and her foster and her nephews love being with Ally!
Ally loves to play, and foster gives her a tennis ball or treat ball as a reward for peeing outside, which she has almost completely mastered. She has never pooped indoors. She loves to play in the fenced-in yard, and foster leashes her outside in the yard to get her used to it, and she's great. She loves to hang with foster mom and watch tv on the couch. She's also an active girl, and loves to be with kids and run around with them. When first meeting someone, she puts her paws on you gently to make friends and get some pets - otherwise, she's pretty calm.
Ally has been know to bark a bit when left alone, but then falls asleep before it becomes any kind of an issue. She's an affectionate and outgoing girl, who is not shy about coming up to lick you and likes to be around her people. She's great in the car, and doesn't pull on a leash. She's kind with the furniture and doesn't chew on things around the house, but currently is being kept in a big pen, just until she is completely housebroken.
Ally will be a great family dog, and will do well in an active household with kids and maybe another friendly pet. Come meet Ally - her beautiful amber coat and great personality really shine in person!
