Adventure came to us from Kentucky on transport to find his forever home. He is neutered, and UTD on shots.
For the most part, he will hang out in the same room as the foster family. He isn't a couch potato, and but rather always wants to be with you and will loyally follow you around! He gives kisses and nuzzles for attention He does give playful nips - but doesn't hurt you - we promise.
In crate training. he is in it at night and during the day when they are out of the house. We work on him being created when we're home to building tolerance so that way he doesn't get upset when he is left alone. He needs guidance to get into the crate, but once he's in there he will stay quiet. Still needs command training and experience. On leash - he does tend to pull. He needs someone strong to help him learn how to walk on leash.
Adventure loves the foster's resident dog, and would do well with a companion. When it comes to toys, he likes to play with a ball that makes noise - if it squeaks he goes nuts with it! He does like other toys, but he is definitely more affectionate than playful in most human interactions. He loves his people and has a big open heart. He is a BIG mush! He will rest his head on yours when your at his level, he just wants to be as close as he can to you at all times. His tail is always wagging - so be careful not to get whacked!
With feeding times, he eats on his own. He eats VERY fast and will make a big goofy mess! He loves to show what he has in his bowl by dumping it all over the floor. He enjoys dry food, and gets a probiotic. But, when he is eating, he is never growling, never guarding.
Just a few small hesitations: Adventure is fearful of going in the car, and will need time to learn to enjoy the wind in his fur from an open window. Adventure is also unsure on the stairs when on leash - but will bound up when off leash. Also, Adventure will on jump the counter and is ALWAYS wants to explore. He will eat food left out - so be mindful!
