Meet Louise... she was found wandering the streets, no chip, and her rescue 7-day hold is up. She is ready to be shared with the world to find a happily-ever-after.
Louise has proven that she likes all dogs, cats, and children. She is a very cuddly girl who loves to snuggle in a lap whenever given the chance. She is very calm when meeting new people - demonstrating her cute curiosity and relaxed nature. She does will with a wee-wee pad indoors but does also know how to reliever herself outside as well. She does not enjoy being confined to small spaces, so crating would be an area where she would need training.
Overall, Louise's demeanor is very calm and sweet. She loves affection and to be close to her person, and once in a while she will get excited and want to share lots of kisses with you! She will jump on you and try flood you with her precious little licks. She likes puzzle toys, and is still figuring out how to play with typical dog toys. Her foster characterizes her as a couch potato that loves to lounge around - her goal is to just feel comfortable and relaxed.
Louise is not yet spayed, but is UTD on vaccinations. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, she is eligible to be spayed for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the spay appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
