Baby Macy was discovered in a barn with her other kitten siblings, and she along with her siblings were brought into their new homes. Unfortunately for Macy, the woman who took her in had difficulty with her kitten energy and she was ultimately surrendered into our rescue to find a more appropriate home where Macy can get the adequate play and attention she needs as a young kitten.
Since Macy was brought into a home just after she was weened, she has already been litterbox trained and keeps it fairly clean. She is a very energetic girl and loves to play with pretty much any toy, animal, or human that crosses her path on a regular basis. She is quite intelligent and had figured out how all of her toys work for maximized engagement. She is extremely outgoing and loves to meet new people to have a new playmate! Her foster shared that she understands the word "no" already, and is incredibly loving and cuddly when she is ready to take a nap. Â
Macy is up to date on vaccinations, but is not yet spayed. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, she is eligible to be spayed for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the spay appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
