Found by a Good Samaritan in North Plainfield, sweet little Nero was rescued from the streets. The wonderful person who found him wanted to keep him, but Nero was terrified of their resident dog, and knowing that he was friendly and lovable, the family reached out to RRR in hopes of him finding a forever home.
Nero is completely litter box trained. Â He is an active kitten who loves playing with springs, jingle balls, and pretty much anything that moves! However, Nero is shy. He may hide at first, yet, if you pick him up for snuggles he is all purrs and will lay in your lap for hours. He loves snuggles. Â Nero could thrive as an only pet and would do best in a quieter home.
Nero is totally comfortable and affectionate once he feels safe and secure with his caregivers. Once he feels safe in a social situation, he will thoroughly enjoy snuggles and affection for long periods of time. When introduced to someone new, he may hide at first to gauge if it is okay to let his guard down, but once he is comfortable, he will engage with the toys and the people. Â Playful and sweet, all rolled into one little bundle of joy!
Nero is UTD on vaccinations, but is not yet neutered due to his age. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the neuter appointment! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
