Regan just arrived from a high kill shelter at code red - full capacity. What we've learned so far is that this sweet and playful pup is super deserving of a loving home!
Regan is settling into foster nicely and is decompressing from the stress of being in a shelter environment with little room to give. She is in the process of housebreaking in foster, and will do her business outside as long as she is taken out regularly for potty breaks. She is crate trained, and will settle beautifully when it is time to go in her safe space to relax. She is doing great on leash, but still wants to go and play with butterflies or birdies that she sees on her walks, so she will tug a bit.
Regan loves to play! She especially enjoys stuffed animals, bones, and balls... but really all toys are great in Regan's eyes! She is super approachable and loves making new friends on walks and in her foster home. She is also very snuggly with her foster family, and she believes firmly that she is a tiny lap-sized dog that can fit right right in for affection and relaxation. She will. however, settle with sitting or laying next to her foster family. On a lazy Sunday afternoon at home, if she is not snuggled in tightly next to a member of her foster family, she will be a roli-poli playful pup with a stuffy right at their feet! She is great with kids, and would thrive in a home with children who can play and bond with her.
Regan is spayed and is UTD on all of her vaccinations. Ready to welcome this sweet and playful girl into your forever home?
