Jimmy was found as a stray wondering streets of Newark for several months. Thankfully, he landed safely in the arms of a loving Foster from our rescue and is on his way to finding his forever home, which he certainly deserves!
Jimmy, having been a stray, is learning the ropes of being in a house. He is well on his way to being housebroken, and has mastered crate training beautifully! Jimmy is great on leash and enjoys walks with his foster to explore the outside world from whence he came!
Jimmy's diet consists of a mix of wet and dry food 2x daily. He still hasn't figured out that toys are toys, and will need time to explore options for playtime. Most of his energy can be expended through walks to smell the smells and see the sights of the great outdoors. He is comfortable meeting new people, and is good with children as well.
Jimmy is not yet neutered, but is on his way with his vaccination schedule. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the neuter appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
