Welcome Pablo to RRR! He arrived at the end of March- pulled at the last second from a high kill shelter. Pablo is about 4 months old and 25 pounds of wiggly terrier/hound mix with soft floppy ears.
Pablo is in the process of housebreaking in his foster home, and is doing remarkably well! He is completely crate trained and knows how to rest and relax during his downtime. He is also excellent on leash and will not pull or rush you on walks. For meal times, Pablo enjoys breakfast, lunch, and dinner of Purina Pro Plan Puppy Shredded Blend Chicken & Rice Formula. When it comes to playtime, Pablo prefers soft, squeaky toys, playing catch with tennis balls, and a little bout of tug of war with tougher toys. He also likes feeding enrichment toys!
When it comes to socialization, Pablo does very well with meeting new people at home. He always greets them, wagging his tail and asking for affection. Also, on walks, he always stops and watches people walking on the street, and as they get closer, he gets excited and wants to approach them. Social butterfly, much?
Pablo is very affectionate and sweet. He loves giving kisses, being cuddled and sleeping next to you. He's also a family dog and loves when everyone is together. For example, if someone falls behind when we're on a walk, he'll stop and wait for them to catch up. He's also very playful and happy. You'll often notice a big smile on his face on walks or when playing catch! When family are relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, Pablo is often playing with his toys or playing with his family. He's happy to play independently, but of course loves if everyone is around. If he's tired, he may take a nap (especially if there's soft music playing or it's raining - he finds it very soothing!)
Pablo is neutered, and is UTD on shots. A healthy pup just looking for his forever home!
A special note from his foster: "Pablo is just adorable and so loving! He makes friends everywhere he goes. I'm often stopped on the street by neighbors who say how handsome and sweet he is. He would be an excellent companion to anyone, but he'd make an especially great family dog."
