Streak, with her small black streak down her nose, was part of a litter of 8. The owner didn't spend much time with them and they weren't very socialized, so we took Streak and her sisters in to give them a shot at a loving forever home. She is the last of her litter that is still in foster, and will love to be in a home where she can have space to be the independent little lady that she is.
She is UTD on shots, and is spayed.
Streak is quite shy with people right now, but loves to play with her snake string toy! She likes to chase ropes and string and jingle balls. She loves to eat, and is very treat motivated. She is not very adventurous, unless she thinks she's alone and then she becomes more fearless. She is working on accepting human affection, but with the right amount of time and patience she will settle into a forever home.
She has been in foster for three months while working on socialization, and although progress was slow in the beginning, she has come out of her shell (and out of hiding, too). She would paint herself into corners when she first arrived, but in only a few weeks she explores the house, and is getting more acclimated to house life and people each day. She is pretty quiet in general, but with time and guarded attention we believe she will settle into house cat life.
A quiet home with human presence would be best for Streak, but she can tolerate other cats. She's a has an adorable face and beautiful coat of fur, and will thrive once she is acclimated and well cared for - come meet her!!
