Mini is a sweet, loving long-haired chihuahua whose owner passed away after an extended illness. As a result, she became a mostly indoor dog, and needs to be re-introduced to the big world!

Mini loves people and loves to be near you. If you have a free hand, she will lay down on her back for a belly rub or two - her favorite thing! She is also very food motivated, and this will be an asset in her training. She love to play catch, and is pretty much happy doing anything, as long as it is with you. And watching her zooming around the backyard should be a spectator sport!! She's equally social with strangers - if there's a chance she can get a belly rub, she loves you immediately :)

She's good in the car, but was crated most of the time when driving. She barks when she hears the front door opened, and when she wants something. Mini has had very limited exposure to a leash, and will need to get used to the outdoors, and walking on a leash. She IS completely wee-wee pad trained though, with very few accidents. Mini can sleep in crate or anywhere - she's used to getting her pick, which is fine because she doesn't chew on your furniture or sneakers. Her owner let her roam in the house when they're out for short periods of time, otherwise she was crated. Mini has NO food aggression, but if she has something small in her mouth, best to offer her a treat to replace it rather than grabbing it.

Mini is a wonderful, loving and friendly little dog and will be great as a companion and a member of your "pack". Come meet Mini!!!!
